I grew up in a home where things were passed down.

Not just objects — meaning. The same ceramic bowl on the same shelf for decades. A tablecloth that had been to every celebration worth remembering. Furniture that had outlived the people who first chose it. Growing up surrounded by things that carried history taught me something I didn't have words for until much later: that how you live matters. That the objects you choose, the spaces you create, the way a room makes someone feel when they walk into it — these things are not small. They are the texture of a life.

I spent years after that looking for a place that understood this. Searching online for the piece that felt intentional, the find that felt curated, the home edit that felt like it was built for someone who actually cared. And I kept coming up empty.

Nesthers Living was built with my life partner in this and in everything. Together we share a belief that has quietly shaped every decision we've made about this brand: that a beautiful home is not a privilege. It is not something reserved for a certain income, a certain zip code, a certain starting point. It is something anyone can create — with the right eye, the right finds, and the permission to believe their space is worth the attention.

We named it Nesthers because a nest is not a showroom. It is not a catalog. A nest is built — piece by piece, with intention and instinct — by the person who lives in it. It holds warmth. It holds history. It holds the people you love. And it is yours.
